Why do we continue to attract certain types of people and repeat lessons in our life? Conflicts and tension within partnerships can serve to teach us important lessons, most often through resistance, challenging us to grow. What’s more, is that lessons will be repeated until learned and mastered. When we unconsciously operate from fear or need in our relationships with others it is due to unmet psychological needs from our youth, or perceived voids that were genetically transferred, and persist throughout our lives. As a result, we seek to fulfill these needs through partners, leading to disappointment and conditional love, perpetuating codependent cycles until we break the unhealthy and destructive pattern by recoding the genetically encoded beliefs.
